FIELD: instrument engineering.
SUBSTANCE: circuit comprises signal input, microprocessor, and generator of pulse signal. The frequency of the generator is a function of the amplitude of the signal at the signal input of the circuit. The generator is connected with the synchronizing input of the microprocessor. The microprocessor measures the frequency of the pulse signal at its synchronizing input by comparing the pulse signal with the time signal, thus, providing the indication of the amplitude of the input signal.
