SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automation. The automatic batcher for pieces of paper for use as hand wipers has an infrared sensor system for user detection. The sensor system scans at a first scanning frequency, as well as at a second higher frequency. When the sensor system detects a user, it changes the scanning frequency from the first to the second.
EFFECT: reduced power consumption, as well as fast reaction for issuing out paper.
