FIELD: space radio-navigation, possible use for determining angular position of objects in space.
SUBSTANCE: at least three antennas are positioned on objects, in such a way that they are not on one straight line, while antennas receive signals from satellites, on basis of which coordinates are determined for satellites, as well as phase differences of bearing frequency of signals, received from satellites at distanced antennas, where (phase differences) information is contained about angles between directions to satellites and vectors, formed by antennas, on basis of which with utilization of information about position of antennas relatively to object, about coordinates of object, about coordinates of satellites, orientation problem is solved, while antennas receive signals only from two satellites (not three or more), and information about object coordinates is received from inertial navigation system, or information about starting point coordinates is utilized.
EFFECT: increased system reliability by decreasing number of satellites necessary for determining object orientation.
