FIELD: optical engineering; computer engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device can be used for drawing dactyloscopic maps used in criminal law. Device for registration of papillary pattern has light source optically connected with surface recognizing prints of palm, which surface is made of optically transparent material and which has to be one side of waterproof dish filled with immersion liquid. Photoreceiving element assembly of the device is electrically connected with image processing unit. Bottom of the dish and one its side surface are made of optically transparent material. Bottom of dish is disposed in parallel to palm prints recognizing surface. Light source is disposed under bottom of the dish. Side surface of the dish made of optically transparent material is inclined to palm print recognizing surface in such a way that normal line to it forms angle with normal line of palm print recognizing surface, which angle is close to critical angle of total reflection.
EFFECT: improved reliability; improved precision of identification.
