FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: device can be used for optical forming of dactyloscopic image by use of computer technology used by legal institutions. Device for scanning patterns of skin lines has radiation-transparent cylinder mounted for turn about fixed axis of rotation for angle providing full movement of tested part of skin relatively radiation flux from radiation source. Radiation source and receiver are motionless mounted in relation to cylinder. Elastic material, being transparent to radiation, is pulled over surface of cylinder. Material tightly joins edges of cylinder. Gap between material and cylinder is filled with immersion fluid. Surface of elastic material is adapted to shape of part of skin.
EFFECT: improved quality of registered image.
