FIELD: apparatus for packing articles.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises bearing member, head for applying the film controlled by the bearing member and mounted for permitting rotation with respect to the roll product set in the receiving-driving device. The axis of rotation of the bearing member, independently of the sizes of the roll product, is arranged at the straight line perpendicular to the central axis of the roll in the zone of the mid-point of the roll. The method of wrapping the rolls is also proposed.
EFFECT: enhanced precision and expanded functional capabilities.
