FIELD: molding.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and a device for labeling a conical plastic container. Labeling method uses the banderole provided for this in the form of a label, decorative strip or similar information carrier. This is transferred from a feed strip, which can in particular be advanced intermittently, onto a feed die and moved from the latter by means of an advancing movement into a respective mould cavity of a deep-drawing arrangement. During a subsequent in-mould processing phase, the individual label and the plastic container to be moulded are respectively brought together in the common mould cavity. According to the invention, it is provided that, on at least one feed strip, respective sub-portions are preformed with a contour in the form of sectors of an annulus in some regions, and, on this basis, the feed strip is individually transferred intermittently to a conical feed die.
EFFECT: invention increases the efficiency of device for labeling a conical plastic container.
