SUBSTANCE: invention describes the compound N-ethyl(3'-cyano-4'-methyl-6-chloropyridyl-2')-ethoxyhydrazone of the following formula: that is used as an antidote against the phytotoxic effect of herbicide 2,4-D on vegetating sunflower plants. Invention provides effective enhancing the antidote effect on sunflower seeds production on the background of phytotoxic effect of herbicides. Also, invention provides expanding the assortment of the known antidotes.
