FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to novel biologically active chemical substances. The proposed substance which reduces the negative effect of the 2,4-dichlorophenoxy acetic acid herbicide on sunflower plants is 2,3-dichloro-4-[(6-chloro-5-cyano-4-methylpyridyl-2)-methylhydrazono]-buten-2-oic acid. The technical result is achieved by using 2,3-dichloro-4-[(6-chloro-5-cyano-4-methylpyridyl-2)-methylhydrazono]-buten-2-oic acid to treat damaged sunflower plants a day after applying the herbicide.
EFFECT: wider range of synthetic biologically active substances for use in agriculture as 2,4-D antidotes.
