SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of oil processing industry and mechanical engineering, in particular, to production of the metal-plating additive, which may be used in the lubricating composition applied at lubrication of the friction units of machines and gears. Substance: the additive contains (in mass %): copper oleate - 10-15, iron oleate - 5-10, nickel oleate - 3-5, glycerin - 5-10, rapic acid - the rest. The technical result of the invention is reduction of intensity of the wear and tear of the metallic surfaces in 2-4 times, the friction coefficient and temperatures in the friction zone.
EFFECT: the invention ensures reduction of intensity of the wear and tear of the metallic surfaces in 2-4 times, reduction of the friction coefficient and temperatures in the friction zone.
