FIELD: lubricants.
SUBSTANCE: invention proposes oil-soluble metal-plaguing additive, which can be widely used to reduce wear of friction surfaces of especially heavy duty parts of machines and mechanisms. Additive contains 10-45% unsaturated carboxylic acid selected from C6-C22-fractions, 2-30% cuprous and cupric salts of unsaturated carboxylic acid selected from C6-C22-fractions, 1-20% tin(II) salt of unsaturated carboxylic acid selected from C6-C22-fractions, 0.001-0.05% water, and to 100% mineral oil.
EFFECT: reduced coefficient of friction under heavy duty conditions and increased resistance if additive against stratification.
