FIELD: hydraulic building, particularly fish protective devices adapted to protect young fish against entrance in water-intake structure.

SUBSTANCE: fish protective device comprises perforated suction pipe with conical member connected thereto. Conical member has filtering surface made as concave gutters communicated along cone generators and widening towards conical member base. Conical member apex faces water flow and is connected to suction line of the pump. Conical member base faces water flow and is made as polyhedral pyramid having side faces made as gutters concave towards longitudinal device axis. Gutter surfaces are made of water-tight material.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of fish protection.
