FIELD: hydraulic engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to protect young fish on diversion facilities used on fishery water sources. Proposed head has water permeable barrier coaxially to which supply line pressure water conduit is installed, stream former conical converging nozzles mounted on top of head, pump suction pipeline and flange connecting suction pipeline with head. Stream former is provided with watertight stream guide conical screen mated with cylindrical ferrule on which conically converging nozzles are mounted. Barrier is made cylindrical and is furnished with stream forming watertight conical screen installed coaxially to its longitudinal axis with angle of taper α from 70 to 110°, pointed by top to suction pipeline, and mated by base with cylindrical ferrule. Barrier can be made of gauze or in form of set of inclined louver rings installed with clearance from 20 to 40 mm relative to each other and at angle of 135° to axis of barrier. Number of conically converging nozzles is from 5 to 20, and their outlet diameter is from 5 to 150 mm.
EFFECT: improved efficiency and provision of prevention of getting of young fish into diversion facility, possibility of removing trash, increased capacity of diversion facility.
