FIELD: hydraulic building, particularly means to protect young fish from penetration in water-intake structure.
SUBSTANCE: fish protective device comprises head installed into inlet pipe of pump in parallel to water surface and submersed in water stream, filtering screen and flushing means connected to outlet pipe of the pump through pressure pipeline. End part of flushing means is located inside the head from head base and is coaxial to longitudinal axis thereof. Head base has streamlined shape and faces through water flow by convex head base surface. Outer head body is water-tight. Filtering screen is located inside the body and is made as truncated cone having major base located from water intake head part side and minor base facing head base.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of fish protection due to creation of hydraulic conditions effective for water intake and young fish protection.
