SUBSTANCE: in case of transformation of content data, received from data transfer device at the side of primary data carrier to data recording device for recording content data onto secondary data carrier, data compression system and bit transfer rate, appropriate for data recording device, are compared to data compression system and bit transfer rate of content, meant for transfer, so that required processing of transfer may be performed in accordance to comparison result. When compression systems match and bit rate of content data does not exceed bit rate, appropriate for data recording device, content data are transferred as they are, in form of encrypted compressed data.

EFFECT: efficient transmission of content data from primary data carrier to secondary data carrier at high data transfer speed.
