SUBSTANCE: recording method contains stages of: detection of unique information in record carrier outside the given zone, controlled by control data, which control data in data zone on record carrier; generation of unique information, when no unique information recorded on data carrier is found during detection stage; and recording of unique information, generated during generation phase, outside the zone controlled by control data.

EFFECT: expanded functional capabilities of magneto-optical disk with preserved compatibility with common minidisk system.
