FIELD: reusable sources of primary power supplies.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device designed for charging and trickle-charging all types of storage batteries rated at 3 to 9 V and up to 2.5 A-h has case accommodating solar batteries and adapter incorporating shell with built-in socket of motor-car cigarette lighter type. Socket shroud and terminal function as leads for connecting load through adapter. Insulating wiring board fixed on socket terminal within shell mounts isolating diode. Solar battery is connected through its one pole to socket terminal and through other one and isolating diode, to socket shroud. Proposed charger incorporates provision for conjugation with any portable device supplied with power from motor-car circuit.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability, facilitated maintenance, storage, handling, assembly, and repairs, reduced time taken to make charger serviceable.
