SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of sugar industry, in particular, to the method of diffusion juice purification. The method provides for the progressive predefecation of the diffusion juice, its main defecation, the first carbonation and the percolation of the first carbonated juice. This juice is subjected to the additional defecation and percolation, the second saturation and percolation. The defecated juice is subjected to the treatment with the ozone-air mixture in two stages. The first stage is carry out during the main defecation, and the second stage - during the additional defecation before the second saturation. The concentration of the ozone in the mixture makes 3-10 g/nm³. The invention ensures improvement of the purification and reduction of the purified juice chromaticity.
