FIELD: oil and gas industry, particularly rock drills.
SUBSTANCE: charge comprises body with orifice for blast initiation, explosive arranged in the body and covering formed as shell. The shell is made of material having density exceeding 7000 kg/m3 and having at least one profiled surface. The profile includes trihedral or hexahedral convex members. Distance between adjacent convex member centers is not less than 4 average covering thicknesses. Convex member heights do not exceed average covering thickness to provide cumulative effect.
EFFECT: increased oil output from wells.
