FIELD: blasting operations.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to explosive devices. The explosive device comprises a casing made unclosed, an explosive substance arranged therein with initiating means and a layer pad fitted between the casing and explosive substance and covering a part of the casing inner surface. The said layer pad is produced from a material softer than that of the casing and with a higher mass density compared to that of the casing material. The invention increases the efficiency of explosive substances consisting in greater degree of destruction or target penetration on the trajectory of blast wave.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of explosive materials.
