FIELD: mining, particularly to support roof at medium-thickness flat-lying or steep seam longwall without staff presence at mining face.
SUBSTANCE: support comprises pneumatic cylinders arranged in two rows and installed between bottomhole and goaf basic beams and connected with basic beams through bases in staggered order. The support also comprises movement mechanism comprising links pivotally fastened to inner basic beams of both rows by ends thereof. The movement mechanism links are made as springs arranged over inner basic beams and connected to bases by spring ends. The movement mechanism is provided with additional pneumatic cylinders installed on the springs and fixedly secured to them.
EFFECT: increased safety due to possibility of operation in unstable side rock.
