FIELD: mining industry, particularly to support steep or flat-lying coal seam face roof without permanent staff presence in production face.
SUBSTANCE: roof support comprises face and goaf rows of even-numbered and odd-numbered sections. The sections are provided with pallets with pneumatic cylinders installed between face and goaf inner and outer basic beams. The beams are supported by supporting device through carriages and are fixedly connected to them. Moving mechanism movers of pneumatic cylinders are connected to flexible draw members. Pallets with odd-numbered pneumatic cylinders are fixedly secured to inner and outer basic face beams. Pallets with even-numbered pneumatic cylinders are rigidly connected to inner and outer goaf basic beams. The movers are formed as bent carriage springs. The first ends of the carriage springs are secured to carriages connected to flexible draw members installed to perform movement along inner face and goaf basic beams. The second ends thereof may slide along above beams. Bent parts of carriage springs may cooperate with thrust skids. The first thrust skids are fixedly secured to pallets of even-numbered and odd-numbered sections between pneumatic cylinders of face row and inner goaf basic beam. The second ones are connected to pallets of even-numbered sections between inner face and goaf basic beams.
EFFECT: reduced unsecured face area, possibility to use thereof in rock having normal or low stability.
