FIELD: mining; applicable in mining of thin and very thin flat and steep coal seams by long-face method the strike and dip of the seam without constant presence of men in breakage face. SUBSTANCE: pneumatic powered support includes even and odd pneumatic balloons connected to face and caved beams, respectively, and made of hinged sections interconnected by spring-loaded horizontal bars. Sections of face base beam are mode in form of rectangular guides and provided with ram and carriages installed on guides interconnected with help of hinges and tie-rods made with sliding supports for engagement with face beam and connected with ram installed along tie-rod longitudinal axis. Each carriage is connected with caved base beam by means of flexible connection and pulley embraced by it and secured to face beam. EFFECT: higher operate reliability of pneumatic powered support due to its simplified design. 7 dwg
