FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, seeding equipment for single-seed sowing of swollen and germinated seeds.
SUBSTANCE: seeding unit has seed box and vertical seeding conveyor arranged in side wall. Conveyor has blades inclined toward horizontal plane and equipped with cells divided by protrusions defining active guides. Cells are shaped in conformance with shape of seeds to be sown. Active guides have width of 1-3 mm and length 2-3 times as great as that of cells. Cells are staggered on seeding plate. Blades are inclined towards horizontal plane at an angle of 45-50 deg. Conveyor blade pitch corresponds to farm crop sowing space.
EFFECT: provision for sowing of swollen and germinated seeds to thereby increase productivity, and enhanced reliability in sowing of cucurbitaceous crops for obtaining of early products.
