FIELD: agricultural engineering, in particular, equipment for single seed drills designed for sowing of swelled and germinated seeds.
SUBSTANCE: seeding unit has seed box with seeding conveyor provided with cells and active guides made in the form of projections arranged above seeding conveyor. Width of projections is 1.5-2.0 mm, height is 0.7-0.8 of the average thickness of seed, length is 1.7-1.9 the length of cell. Conveyor has horizontal and inclined parts. Length of horizontal part is defined from equation where S is length of horizontal part, m; V is velocity of displacement of cells under seed layer, m/s; is average length of crop seed to be sown, m. Inclined part of conveyor is arranged at an angle of 40-50 deg to horizontal plane. Rear wall of seed box is provided with gland. Squeezing rollers are at bending part of conveyor. Cells are staggered in groups on conveyor. Space between groups of cells is equal to sowing pitch.
EFFECT: increased germination capacity and germination energy of seeds owing to cell sowing of seeds at predetermined dosing precision.
