FIELD: oil and gas production.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of insulating waters in fractured cavernous reservoirs under conditions of intensive (catastrophic) losses. Method envisages separate injection of two reagents into formation through tube space, the first reagent being bentonite-chalk solution further containing sodium chloride and the second one aluminum sulfate solution. Reagents are then mixed and mixture thereof is fixed with cement mortar. Specifically, bentonite-chalk solution is preliminarily injected above the thief zone, after which aluminum sulfate solution is injected into the thief zone and, simultaneously, bentonite-chalk solution is forced into the thief zone through annular space at its ratio to aluminum sulfate solution (3-5):1. resulting mixture is composed of, wt %: bentonite gel powder 13.3-14.6, industrial-grade chalk 11.0-12.2, sodium chloride 12.6-13.8, aluminum sulfate 3.9-5.7, and water the rest.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of insulation of intensive-loss zones.
