FIELD: gas pipeline transport.
SUBSTANCE: compressor station comprises gas-pumping units that are connected at the inlet with the preparation system and plant for cooling gas at the outlet through valving and supplying and discharging pipelines with the main gas pipeline. The cooling plant has at least one apparatus for air cooling of gas that is composed of at least two heat exchanging sections. Each of the heat exchanging sections of the apparatus is provided with multi-row bank of stiffened tubes. The tubes define the sections of complete aerodynamic impermeability that correspond to the projections of tubes on the plane perpendicular to the vector of the flow of cooling air and passing through central longitudinal axes of tubes in each row.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency.
