FIELD: the invention refers to measuring technique and may be used for calibration of sensors of an aerodynamic angle of flying vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: for achieving this result they measure the meanings of the local aerodynamic angle with the aid of the sensor of an aerodynamic angle, an angle of tilting of longitudinal bound axle of a flying vehicle in controlling plate relatively to the Earth and its ground speed. At that after calibrating mode they fulfill as a minimum one sounding mode of flight with the aim of definition of the average speed of the wind. On calibrating mode they measure an angular orientation of the flying vehicle relatively to the Earth. After completion of sounding and calibration modes they compute the speed of the flying vehicle as difference of its ground speed and the average speed of the wind and define calibration characteristics by comparison for one and the same moments of time of the measured local angle of orientation of the speed of the stream flow with an angle of orientation of the computated speed of the flying vehicle.
EFFECT: increases accuracy of definition of calibration characteristics.
