FIELD: pharmaceutical industry.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises (i) heating, under specified conditions, of ceresin, paraffin, native naphthalan, bitumens, and asphaltenes from natural deposit of Dead sea, humin acid, and mineral salts (15% of sodium iodide, 30% sodium sulfate, 30% magnesium sulfate, and 25% sodium bromide) jointly with paraffin plasticizer, all components being used in specified proportions, to achieve liquid state; (ii) molding mixture by way of pouring it into cells; and (iii) and cooling until surface gardening occurs to form drug in the form of plates.
EFFECT: enabled thermal treatment comparable to that with naturally occurring ozokerite but without side effects.
