FIELD: coating compositions.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to protective anti-corrosive compositions constituting inhibited film-forming petroleum compositions intended for protection of vehicle bottoms from corrosion. The developed protective anti-corrosive material includes: as a solid petroleum hydrocarbon - paraffin, petroleum jelly, or bitumen, as a solvent - hydrotreated paraffinic petroleum distillates С₂₀-С₅₀, or hydrotreated heavy paraffinic petroleum distillates, or hydrotreated petroleum distillates with a viscosity of no less than 100 SUS, as a corrosion inhibitor - sulphonates of alkali and/or alkaline earth metals, and as a plasticiser - polyethylene glycol with a molecular weight of 1500 to 4000.

EFFECT: purpose of the protective anti-corrosive material is to form a protective film which is supposed perform two functions: prevent development of corrosion on metal surfaces and have high mechanical strength and abrasion resistance to sand and gravel impact, preventing the surface from being scratched.
