FIELD: various technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for corrosion protection of metal surfaces. Protective anticorrosion composition contains solid petroleum hydrocarbons, a corrosion inhibitor, a hydraulic oil with zinc-containing additives, and a thickener. Solid petroleum hydrocarbons used are paraffin, ceresin, petroleum jelly or bitumen. Thickener is a mixture of calcium and lithium stearates. Sulphurised oil with sulphur content of 1–5 wt.% is used as a corrosion inhibitor.

EFFECT: invention increases structural homogeneity and thixotropy of the composition, as well as increases anticorrosion properties of the coating obtained therefrom.
