FIELD: pharmaceutical industry.
SUBSTANCE: drug is composed of dry wild growing or cultivated grass of tumbleweed (Salsola collina Pall.) subjected to disintegration to particle size 200 μm. Drug is suitable to use in the form of pellets, granules, capsules, and other pharmaceutical forms without binding additives. In order to enhance activity of the drug, dry grass of wild growing or cultivated grass of Tumbleweed is subjected to disintegration on centrifugal elliptic mill or another disintegration equipment to achieve particle size 200 μm, preferably 50 μm. Such processing allows full utilization of all components of tumbleweed grass and most full utilization of all spectrum of useful properties of that plant, which is manifested by increased bioavailability of active substances and utilization of high-molecular weight compounds of grass, obtained owing to mechanochemical destruction of vegetable cells, as adsorbents of toxins.
EFFECT: enhanced therapeutical efficiency.
