FIELD: transport engineering; security systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices designed for preventing and revealing unauthorized use or high-jacking of vehicles with biometric system of identification of driver and other persons who are allowed to use the car. Controller of system is made for connection to ignition system and exchange data with electronic modules of security system. Biometric identification unit is provided whose starting input is connected to control output of security system controller. Moreover, proposed device is furnished with teaching device, coincidence circuit whose input is connected to output of biometric identification unit and security system mode setting unit. Multichannel input of mode setting unit is connected to multichannel output of coincidence circuit, and output is connected with mode input of security system controller. Training input of biometric identification unit is connected to output of training device. Biometric identification unit includes scanner, pattern registration unit, pattern storage unit, comparator unit, image registration unit and control unit. Invention makes it possible to form additional protection of car against unauthorized use owing to integration of biometric sensor with units of security system. Invention makes it possible to use advantages of biometric method of identification by finger prints.
