FIELD: mechanical engineering; vehicle brake systems.

SUBSTANCE: proposed pressure regulator has housing, spring-loaded differential piston coupled with vehicle suspension to take up its forces, end face and ring spaces connected by channels with brake circuits of front wheels, formed, respectively, by large and smaller steps of piston and housing, ring space outlet channel connected to brake circuit of rear wheels, bypass valve to bleed air from end face space, and ring valve. Ring valve is installed with clearance with smaller step of piston to disconnect, at contact with seat on end face of smaller step, brake circuit of rear wheels and circuit of front wheels. Ring valve is made of elastic material and is tightly pressed by bushing to corresponding bore in housing. Surface of ring and surface of bushing mated with surface of ring are made so that bushing, at axial compression, presses ring valve both to cylindrical and end face surfaces of bore in housing. Seat is provided with two concentrically arranged projections, and groove is made on cylindrical surface of seat opposite to outlet channel. Bushing is provided with end face groove opposite to outer end face projection of seat and connected by holes with space of smaller step of piston. Area of piston in space formed at moment of contact of ring valve with ring projections is smaller than area of piston in end face space.

EFFECT: reduced cost price, improved reliability of regulator owing to provision of mechanical fastening of ring valve in housing.
