FIELD: textile industry, in particular, equipment for disintegration of textile material wastes, such as yarn, fabric pieces, knitted products, nonwoven webs, said equipment being part of fiber recovery lines.

SUBSTANCE: apparatus has feeding and discharging conveyors, feeding unit with inclined feeding table, immovable knife unit and unit comprising movable knives. Feeding unit has pulling tool consisting of two pairs of grooved rolls, and feeding table immediately adjoining to pulling tool and inclined toward knives. Feeding table and immovable knife may be spatially adjusted. Movable knives are equipped with additional intermediate support formed as sleeve which may be adjusted and fixed in predetermined position, and with additional adjusting and fixing members located at their end parts. Feeding unit with pulling leveling grooved rolls provides for uniform feeding and orienting of fabric piece at an angle of 45 deg between warp threads and cutting line to increase efficiency in disintegrating of material and allows initial length of fiber to be kept. Reliably fixed gap between cutting surfaces of immovable and movable knives is maintained along the entire length by means of intermediate link made in the form of sleeve enabling precise adjustment of position of movable knife surface and its cutting edge. Common base is made in the form of pipe which unites movable knives system and allows gap between knives to be equally minimal along the entire length thereof.

EFFECT: increased efficiency, enhanced reliability and safety of apparatus, effective disintegration of textile wastes combined with provision for keeping length of fibers.
