FLOATING GATE Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC E02B7/50

Abstract RU 2278206 C1

FIELD: hydraulic structures, particularly to close navigational passes of transport hydrosystem dams.

SUBSTANCE: floating gate comprises water-tight metal pontoon installed between concrete piers. Supports with orifices for round rods receiving are connected to pontoon ends. The rods pass in vertical pier grooves. T-beams are connected to pontoon sides. Sheets are arranged between T-beams so that the sheets may be displaced in vertical direction by jacks to regulate water level in river and to permit ship passage across sluice included in hydrosystem.

EFFECT: simplified structure, reduced weight and increased easiness of floating gate production.
