FIELD: the invention refers to the field of linear measurements and may be used for measuring of the height of liquid bodies having ionic conductivity particularly in poultry farming at evaluating the incubation qualities of hen's eggs.

SUBSTANCE: the electrocontact meter of the height of liquid bodies with ionic conductivity relatively to the initial level has a body installed on the post and placed in it a mobile measuring rod with an electrocontact tip which with the aid of a split nut has a kinematic connection with a micrometry screw and is connected with a meter of linear displacements. The body is installed on the post with possibility of travel relatively to the initial level and is provided with a clamp arrangement for fastening it on the post. Inside the tip at the level of the face there is a pair of electrodes of different poles connected with the electronic scheme and the last is connected with an installed on the body a source of electric light which at shorting of the electrodes with liquid body switches a sound signal after which the result of measuring of the height of the body relatively to the initial level is read.

EFFECT: increases accuracy of measuring of the height of liquid bodies.
