FIELD: vacuum engineering.
SUBSTANCE: vacuum cooled trap relates to filled-in traps cooled by liquid cryogenic product. Vacuum cooled trap has vertical case provided with inlet and outlet branch pipes, vessel filled with cryogenic liquid disposed in case and screen placed around the vessel. Screen is made in form of cylinder of high heat-conducting material. Top bottom of the vessel is made in form of ring and lower bottom is removable. Top bottom is fixed along internal diameter onto top part of vessel. Screen is made of gas-impermeable material. Screen has input and output holes. Removable bottom is disposed at lower part of screen. Screen is connected with vessel filled with cryogenic liquid by means of two ribs mounted onto vessel to cross axes of input and output holes in the screen. Vacuum multilayer insulation is applied onto external part of screen and onto top bottom of vessel. Thin-walled bushings made of material with high reflection ability, for example, of aluminum foil, are disposed in inlet and outlet branch pipes of case. Heat protection of cooled screen and vessel filled with cryogenic liquid is provided as well as more uniform distribution of frozen vapors on working surface of trap.
EFFECT: reduced discharge of cool; improved service life.
