FIELD: railway transport; air conditioners.

SUBSTANCE: proposed passenger car air conditioning plant consists of cooling machine of compression type with compressor, condenser, evaporator, thermoregulating valve, air cooler, water and electric air heaters, air filters, devices to supply outside and recirculation air, adjusting gates, chamber to mix flows of outside and recirculation air, devices to distribute air from delivery air conduit among passenger compartments, devices to evacuate air from car, and supply source. Ultra-violet irradiation decontaminating devices are installed in channels of ventilation system air conduit, said devices being connected to supply source and installed in flow of recirculation air after air filter and before air inlet into air cooler or fan or are installed in outside air flow after air filter and before inlet of air into air cooler or fan or are installed in mixed flow of outside and recirculation air after air filter before inlet of air into air cooler or fan, or are installed in delivery air conduit before devices distributing air among passenger compartments or in all indicated places simultaneously.

EFFECT: provision of decontamination of processed air in plant.
