FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to air disinfection in underground passenger carriages. An air disinfection device accommodates an open-top body with a socket wherein a bactericidal UV lamp is fixed by vibration elements. The UV lamp is located in the body socket so that there is a gap between the body and the lamp. At the bottom, on the body under the lamp there is a removable cover fixed to enable air to pass between the body and the cover. For the purposes of vibration and air-flow generated noise reduction, a lower surface of the body is coated with a layer of vibration material, while its upper surface is coated with a layer of sound absorber fixed on the body with the use of a lattice.
EFFECT: provided uniform irradiation of UV processed air flow with reduced power consumption for the disinfection process, and prevented UV release into a drawing room.
