METHOD AND DEVICE FOR PERFORATING EQUIPMENT ACTIVATION IN WELL Russian patent published in 2006 - IPC E21B43/00 E21B47/00

Abstract RU 2278956 C1

FIELD: oil production, particularly to activate equipment used for productive formation perforation and isolation, rock sample taking and accident elimination.

SUBSTANCE: method involves lowering perforating equipment connected to pipes in well and triggering charge initiation means by connecting above means to current source. The current source is self-contained current source located in down-hole equipment. To connect self-contained current source to initiation means corresponding command is given by discrete pipe string rotation with different angular velocities. Initiation means actuation is carried out along with predetermined depth control. Device for above method implementation comprises land-based module and down-hole module. Down-hole module comprises charge initiation means, for instance glowing filament, self-contained current source connected to initiation means, communication means, indicator, microprocessor, pressure relay, motion sensor, three electronic keys and two voltage changers. Self-contained power source is linked to input of the first voltage changer and input of the first electronic key. Outputs of the first voltage changer are connected with inputs of microprocessor power supply units, motion sensors and pressure relay. Output of motion sensor is linked to the first microprocessor input. Pressure relay output is attached to input of the first electronic key control. Output thereof is connected to input of the third electronic key through serially connected the second electronic key and the second voltage changer. Two microprocessor outputs are linked correspondingly to inputs of indicator and the third electronic key control. Output of the third electronic key is connected with initiation means input.

EFFECT: increased reliability of perforating equipment activation inside well.
