FIELD: hydraulic engineering, in particular, clearing of channel slopes from undesirable vegetation.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus has frame and knife equipped with drive rotating in bearing supports. Knife is disposed under bar and is made in the form of packet of toothed disks inclined toward axis of rotation. Peripheral edges of disks are equipped with wear-resistant and hard-alloy cutters formed as prisms located in slots. Disks may be dismantled from knife flanges. Apparatus is provided with cut stem deflecting mechanism.
EFFECT: increased efficiency by providing low cut of plant mass and reduced consumption of power.
