SUBSTANCE: screw cutting unit comprises a screw knife that rotates in bearing supports and shearing fingers. The screw knife is made with the angle of cutting edge sharpening from 15 to 50°. The inner surface of the body has shearing elements arranged along the screw line at the angle from 15 to 45° to the angle of auger pin line inclination. Calibration holes are provided between shearing fingers in the body.

EFFECT: cutting unit design will make it possible to reduce losses and damage to wood greens at the stage of its stocking, and also to increase efficiency of wood greens stocking.
