FIELD: rubber industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention concerns preparation of composite antidegradant for rubbers and can be used in tire industry and in industry of general mechanical rubber goods in order to increase ozone resistance of rubbers. Composite antidegradant is composed of liquid antidegradant melt and powderlike carrier at 50:50 weight ratio. Liquid antidegradant melt represents eutectic melt of N-isopropyl-N-phenyl-p-phenylenediamine and ε-caprolactam at weight ratio 60:40, while powderlike carrier is naturally occurring sodium bentonite treated in aqueous solution of isopropyl alcohol with tertiary ammonium surfactants of general formula [NR1R2R3R4]+X-, where R-1-R4 are linear or branched, saturated or unsaturated C10-C18-alkyl groups or alkylaryl groups such as benzyl group, and X id chlorine atom. The components are taken in following proportions, wt %: sodium bentonite 3.0-3.5, surfactant 1.5-2.0, isopropyl alcohol 2.0-3.0, and water 91.5-93.5.
EFFECT: imparted sufficiently high level of fire resistance to rubbers for a long operation time.
