FIELD: organic chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to composition for non-overgrowing covers and to a method for inhibition of backing overgrowing in an aqueous medium. The composition comprises the hardened or cross-linked organosiloxane-containing polymer free of perfluoropolyester groups and liquid polymer or oligomer containing fluorinated alkyl- or alkoxy-groups. Method involves applying the composition on backing used for non-overgrowing covers. Invention provides preparing compositions showing low surface energy and admissible elastomeric properties that diminish overgrowing with organisms and strength of their coupling with the surface.
EFFECT: improved and valuable properties of composition.
