FIELD: fluorinated polymers for coatings.
SUBSTANCE: fluorinated polymer with alkoxysilyl functional groups is proposed, obtained using a method comprising the steps of: a) reacting an OH-functional (per)fluoropolyether (PFPE) with a polyisocyanate under reaction conditions for forming urethane to obtain an isocyanate-functional intermediate B, b) reacting the intermediate B with a secondary alkoxysilyl functional monoamine C to obtain an alkoxysilyl functional polymer. A coating composition containing a fluorinated polymer, a method for coating a substrate using it, and a coated substrate are also proposed.
EFFECT: proposed polymer is used as an additive in the preparation of a coating with easy clean, stain and scratch resistance properties that can be advantageously used to coat various substrates in consumer electronics or automotive applications such as glass, metal, metal alloy, anodized substrates, plastics, composite. etc.
