FIELD: needle stitching machine for processing of textile structure with needles.

SUBSTANCE: needle stitching machine for processing with needles of textile structure manufactured from plurality of layers 12 placed onto one another. Machine has needle stitching table 10 movable in vertical plane, needle stitching head 14 having predetermined number of hook needles 18 disposed above needle stitching table, and drive means for imparting to needle stitching head vertical reciprocating motions defining lower point corresponding to maximal penetration of needles into textile structure. Machine additionally comprises measuring apparatus 36 located in needle stitching head and adapted for measuring position of upper surface of textile structure when needle stitching head is at lower point corresponding to maximal penetration of needles. Measuring apparatus is preferably positioned in middle plane of needle stitching head perpendicular to direction of feeding of textile structure.

EFFECT: increased efficiency in measuring of actual needle penetration depth, with deformation of structure being taken into consideration in the process of needle stitching of various layers of textile structure.
