FIELD: textile industry.
SUBSTANCE: circular needle punching machine for needle punching of annular carcass has needle punching table movable in vertical plane and serving as horizontal support for annular carcass, and needle punching head including predetermined number of hooked needles. Needle punching machine is positioned in vertical plane above needle punching table in the vicinity of needle punching zone and is driven for reciprocating displacement in vertical plane. Annular carcass is placed directly onto needle punching table and is driven for rotation by means of stretching members. During said rotation needle punching table is in immovable state. Stretching members define annular carcass drive and comprise set of conical friction rolls permanently held in contact with annular carcass.
EFFECT: increased efficiency in creating of machine for manufacturing annular carcasses of uniform and homogeneous structure.
