FIELD: rock cutting tools, particularly water-jet ones.

SUBSTANCE: flushing unit comprises body with channel and socket provided with annular bore, nozzle with sealing member installed in the socket and retaining split ring arranged in the annular bore and having ledge on upper ring end. The nozzle is provided with asymmetric pressure channel and grooves made in outer nozzle surface adapted to receive retaining ring ledges. The retaining ring is fixed in working position relatively body with threaded pin inserted in aligned radial channels made on the body and retaining split ring extension. One nozzle groove has width exceeding that of retaining split ring extension. Another nozzle groove cooperates with the second extension by groove sides to create spline connection. Sealing ring of flushing unit is located in area of socket sides and upper nozzle end intersection.

EFFECT: simplified mounting and demounting of the unit, improved operational reliability of drilling bit as a whole.
