FIELD: mining industry, particularly underground salt deposit development.
SUBSTANCE: method involves drilling air and haulage entries, as well as cutting crossdrifs, conveyer crossdrifs, rise workings and salt unloading holes through bearing massif; driving chamber in several cuts in descending order. The chamber driving is began from cutting side entries, which are transversal to cutting crossdrift along with face equipment retraction after each entry forming and cutting new entry to create depressions in chamber ends. The depression dimensions are enough for face equipment movement. Then chamber driving is continuing in several cuts to create entries parallel to cutting crossdrift without face equipment retraction. After layer cutting entry is made in lower layer, wherein the entry is parallel to cutting crossdrift. Then cutting operations are repeated.
EFFECT: reduced salt losses during cutting operations and intensified chamber cutting.
